Amazon has included Pakistan within the approved seller's |
Amazon, the world's famous e-commerce platform that allows sellers to enlist their products to become amazon sellers but for that, you have to have a passport within the amazon approved countries.
Amazon sellers list is a list in which all the countries are listed whose residents can sell their products to Amazon customers globally, however, Pakistan was not part of that list, but not anymore.
Amazon in Pakistan is now not a dream but a reality, as Amazon has included Pakistan within the approved seller's list to allow Pakistanis to be a holder of an amazon seller account in Pakistan.
Pakistan added to Amazon's Seller List
For those of you who are not familiar with Amazon, Amazon, Inc. is an American multinational technology company based in Seattle, Washington, which focuses on electronic-commerce(e-commerce), cloud computing, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence.
However, the biggest of them which we all are familiar with across the globe is Amazon's e-commerce platform amazon.com. This platform had access to many countries across the world, but still, there were many who were not part of this ecosystem among which was Pakistan too, but not anymore.
A question to think about is why it's significant for a country to be registered within Amazon's trusted seller's list?
The answer is if you are owning a business what would you like to have? An audience is interested to buy the item you/your company is making. So, to have an audience as large as bigger as the whole world can be accessed via Amazon's e-commerce platform amazon.com.
The adviser to Prime Minister of Pakistan for Commerce and Investment, Abdul Razak Dawood shared the following tweet and brought happiness to the nation with a piece of news that is bigger than we can realize at this moment.
We have finally made it. @amazon will be adding Pakistan its Sellers’ List within a few days. We have been engaged with Amazon since last year and now it’s happening. It is a great opportunity for our youth, SMEs and women entrepreneurs. .

Just to give you a glimpse of its impact, let's take an example, if you ou can be living in country A, having business in country B, and earning profits within that country's currency through Amazon's Fulfilled by Amazon(FBA) service. So, it is a huge thing for a country to be enrolled in it as it opens a doorway to the whole world for its sellers whose audience previously was only the population of that country alone.
Pakistan's PM's Special Assistant, Shahbaz Gill put a stamp on the words of Abdul Razak Dawood, by sending this tweet which explains the inclusion of Pakistan in Amazon's trusted seller's list.
Indeed, a small step for a bigger and brighter future.
